Focus, Refocus "is as high-toned as gay porn gets. Many porn
extravaganzas have plots that don't always lend themselves to the
sexual situations created for the story, but this one does. A tale of
sexual obsession with all sorts of twists and turns (written
beautifully by Dan Rhodes), this sumptuous movie looks like it took
three world-class directors to put it together. There is simply that
much bountiful content, that much devotion to the story and that much
wall-to-wall sex. The trick of using both traditional cameras and
hand-held cameras is not new, but it's used better here than anyone
else I can remember. The two types of filming as seamlessly edited so
as never to disrupt the sex itself. Big Raging Stallion movies often
find themselves in exotic locations, but "Focus, Refocus" needs nothing
other than simple spaces because the sex itself is so alive and
teeming with excitement that expensive sets would be a waste of money.
It's the guys and their full understanding of the depraved world
created here that permeates every mind-blowing scene. Three directors
and a huge cast later, "Focus, Refocus" is a dominating instant classic
